I pick up my camera to step into the depth of the present moment
I was born and raised by the sea in Normandy, France, where I first studied Fine Art and discovered my lifelong love for photography, both analogue and digital. At twenty, curiosity carried me north to Norway, where I studied Creative Photography with a Magnum photographer and later earned a Master’s degree in Advanced Media Production, specialising in filmmaking and documentary storytelling.
I feel in love with Romania
Since then, photography and film have taken me across countries, cultures, and landscapes.
In 2016, I co-founded Volod Hendrix, an independent media production studio with Romanian filmmaker Vlad Sacaleanu. For nearly a decade, we have travelled, filmed, and told stories around the world, from environmental documentaries deep in Romania’s last virgin forests to visual productions for international organisations and brands including HBO, Warner Bros, UNICEF, Volkswagen, Lancôme and TikTok.
Our movie screened around the world
One of our most meaningful projects was Virgo, a non-verbal environmental documentary about Romania’s endangered virgin forests. Creating it meant travelling more than 5000 kilometres across the country, filming in over seventy locations and spending weeks immersed in wild landscapes. A journey that profoundly shaped how I see nature, storytelling, and our responsibility as creators.

At 27, I built what I believed was my dream house in Romania, a small ecological wooden home that I designed and documented from the ground up. That experience taught me one of life’s most important lessons: you can build beauty all around you, yet if you are not at peace within, something will still feel incomplete. Real fulfilment begins on the inside.
That realisation became a turning point.
It led me into a deeper exploration of self-awareness, mindfulness, and creative presence, and slowly transformed the way I approach both life and art.
Today my work centres around portrait photography for healing and reconnection, using mindful techniques to help people feel seen, grounded, and alive in front of the camera.
Wide Awake
Alongside photography, I created Wide Awake Creator, a space dedicated to supporting modern creators who want to reconnect with their intuition and develop creativity as a path of self-mastery. Through visual storytelling, mindful creation, and embodied practice, I guide artists and entrepreneurs to clarify their vision and build work that feels aligned with who they truly are. Because creativity, for me, isn’t just a skill.
It’s a way of living.
A way of seeing the world with curiosity and awareness.
A way of responding to life with openness and imagination.
Today I’m based again in Norway, building a growing community of creators and continuing to explore what has always fascinated me most: how art, presence, and storytelling can reconnect us with what is real.
01.
Fact 1
I was born and raised at the sea side in the Normandy region of France, so I have a separate passion for photographing water and portraits.
02.
Fact 2
Sneaking in pictures of my friends when in their element is an old hobby of mine, so portraiture is like second nature to me.
03.
Fact 3
Just like with my photography, I enjoy being in Nature, by myself or with my loved ones. Deep open conversations, silence and looking at your eyes.

Fact 4
I love Cooking. It's another Art of choice for me, alongside others. In the near future I will propose you an experience where a cooked whole food meal will be included, before or after the photo session! Yeee
