Honestly, I felt really comfortable during the session, which I didn’t expect. I usually get a bit awkward in front of the camera, but the whole vibe was calm and supportive. Afterward, I felt lighter—like I had just done something really good for myself.

Je n'ai pas l'habitude de faire ça. Non en fait je ne l'avais jamais fait jusque là, et quel bonheur! Quel bien fou ça fait de sentir un regard si bienveillant vous sonder l'âme et y capturer quelques brides qu'elle entrevoit et vous retransmets à travers ces clichés..! Sur ces photos, je ne "tape pas la pose" je fais simplement la rencontre d'une personne qui me montre sa perception du monde. C'est une mise à nue de nos deux âmes et c'est ce qu'il y a de plus beau sur ces photos.

I’m a poet and performer, meaning that my work exists in the realm of words – it takes a very soulful and talented creator to bring imagery to life that matches my art. As soon as I began working with Lise, it became clear that she would help me achieve this in such a meaningful way!
I love how working with Lise feels simply like real human connection. We met for a coffee some days before the photoshoot – getting to know each other, sharing our stories, discussing ideas for the photoshoot. Lise made me feel relaxed, open and able to express my creative vulnerability. It felt like being in the presence of a friend I just hadn’t met yet.
The photoshoot itself was an equally gorgeous experience! Lise held space for me in a way that made me feel at ease in the present moment. I would describe myself as shy in front of the camera, but Lise was so helpful with gentle tips and direction, as well as being full of fun ideas for shots. The nature was our playground that day, and the photos really show it.
I have worked with photographers before where the experience felt rushed and transactional – working with Lise reawakened my belief in how photography can be fun, relaxing and full of presence.
